3rd Grade Teacher
I am a Monahans High School graduate.
I graduated from a 4-year Texas university and later decided to become a Bilingual teacher.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from UTPB.
I am certified as a Bilingual teacher for grades EC-4 and as a Generalist grades 4-8.
I began teaching for MWPISD la few years ago, but left for one year. Therefore, I’m about to complete five years here! I am currently a third grade teacher and teach all the core subjects.
I am extremely proud to be qualified as a certified Bilingual teacher. This means I am qualified to teach all students including, non-bilingual, ESL, and bilingual. I began my teaching career as a 2nd grade Bilingual teacher with Pecos ISD. After that, I was hired at Ector County ISD and taught second, third, and fourth grade students for most of my career. Then here, at MWPISD, I’ve taught 6th grade ELAR, Social Studies, and all 3rd grade core subjects.
I am a divorced mom of one AMAZING daughter, Alessi Reina! She graduated from Monahans High School and Texas Tech University. I have three “Grand” pet dogs: Meeko, Trixie, and Quill.
Reading is my passion! I also love swimming and like to travel to find “swimming holes” in Texas. Garner State Park is a favorite place of mine. I love flowers too so I spend lots of time working on my yard.
