Hello my name is Kara Taylor. This is my 12th year at Parkway as a 5th grade teacher. As you know I will be teaching Math with my team, Mrs. Braswell who will be teaching ELAR and Miss Sanchez who is teaching Science/Social Studies.

            I am married to Casey and we have three amazing children. Azelyn who is 14 years old,  Casen is 12 and Court James who is 9. They are our pride and joys! We moved to Monahans to get closer to Casey's job. We have fallen in love with Monahans. It is a wonderful place to live.

          I graduated from Coastal Bend College with an associate in Fine Arts and also a Cosmetology certificate. I also graduated from University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelors in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Business Management. After that I went through Region 18 to get my EC-6th teaching certificate.

I am very proud to say I am a 5th grade teacher at Parkway Elementary!
